CONTEXT
The European Institute of Cooperation and Development (IECD) is a French non-governmental organization founded in 1988. It operates in the field of social and economic development in partnership with local institutions. IECD’s main sectors of action are vocational training, professional integration, and support for micro and small enterprises.

ASSET-H&C is a regional network in Southest Asia that brings together vocational training centers willing to work together to better fulfill their common social mission: bringing positive change in the lives of vulnerable youth by teaching them hospitality & catering skills that allow them to successfully integrate into the job market and society.
The network connects 13 member schools across Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Every year, the members of ASSET-H&C build the competencies and futures of more than 2000 trainees, including 54% of female students.

Responsibility
1. Consolidate the network’s actions and strengthen the connection:
Strengthen the connection:
- Facilitate with the Project Manager, the regular coordination meetings with network members to follow-up and ensure alignment on the Action Plan.
- Conduct needs assessments with members to understand their capacity-building, resource, and collaboration needs.
- Oversee regular updates to the network’s online resource center.
- Lead the planning and execution of the bimonthly event “Get Together” knowledge-sharing sessions, identifying relevant topics and speakers.
Consolidate the network:
- Work in tandem with the Program Manager to shape the agenda, logistics, and participant engagement for the annual Seminar, Public Conference.
- Collaborate closely with the regional pedagogical manager to deliver the PROF and organize the annual workshop, focusing on Pedagogy and Training of Trainers (ToT) and maintaining communication with school members.
- Revise criteria requirements, explore and recruit prospective members.
2. Visibility and advocacy:
- Work closely with the communication manager to establish a clear communication plan for the network, increasing ASSET H&C’s network visibility.
- Develop social media campaigns to showcase the members’ best practices, particularly on the Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
- Ensure that the network’s communication tools are up to date (presentation, brochure, flyer, website, etc.),
- Represent the network in working groups, at events, and with external partners… if appropriate.
3. Capacity building in sustainable development:
- Focus on developing the Eco-Guide Publication, bringing together members and external experts to create a comprehensive resource on environmental responsibility in the hospitality industry.
- Implement the promotion strategy and dissemination to ensure widespread adoption and application of the Eco-Guide V2 across the network.
- Support activities aimed at consolidating the expertise of ASSET-H&C and its members to help leverage such expertise beyond the network (inclusion, gender, and social entrepreneurship…).
- Develop relationships with potential partners to facilitate their expertise and with specialized organizations that provide technical and financial support.
PROFILE
Skills and qualities:
- Knowledge/strong interest in sustainable development (SDG, environment, gender, inclusion, etc.) and/or the hospitality sector.
- Organizational skills, autonomy with excellent time management skills.
- Proven superior written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience preparing comprehensive, well-structured, and engaging content for a variety of formats (reports, Publications, etc.).
- Display exceptional listening and analytical skills to understand, respond promptly to members’/partners’ needs and maintain these relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and to maintain deadlines.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to solve problems effectively.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in development studies, business management, communications, or related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a project developer or project coordinator, preferably in an NGO context.
CONDITIONS
Location: Ho Chi Minh City
Salary: according to profile and work experience
