About IECD
The Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement (IECD) is an international non-profit organization that has been working to promote social and economic inclusion since 1988. In Vietnam, IECD supports vocational training programs and social enterprises to empower youth and marginalized communities. We are seeking a creative and motivated intern to join our communications team to enhance the visibility of our projects and impact through engaging content.
The Association of Southeast Asian Social Enterprises for Training in Hospitality & Catering (ASSET-H&C) is a unique network of vocational training centers across Southeast Asia that train young people from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds for professional integration in Hospitality and Catering, allowing them to successfully integrate into society.
Key Responsibilities
As an Intern – Impact Study, you will work closely with the ASSET-H&C team to:
- Support interviews and focus group discussions with stakeholders
- Prepare and follow up on consent from interviewees before each interview/ discussion
- Support the interviewer/ facilitator with technical issues during online interview/ discussion
- Take notes during interviews/discussions
- Contribute observations throughout the process.
- Process qualitative data for analysis
- Transcribe interview/ discussion content from audios to written documents and store them as instructed
- Clean and codify data ready for analysis
- Join the analysis workshops with the study working group and take notes as requested
- Create presentations and reports for meetings
- Create presentations for update meetings
- Design the study report with a logical structure and appealing visuals.

- Support relevant tasks requested by the project team and other projects
Requirements
Senior students or recent graduates in education, social sciences, human resources, marketing & public relations, sustainable development, or related fields.
Requirements:
- Be aspired to pursue a career in the development sector or academia (qualitative research)
- Be able to engage in professional English conversations effectively without difficulties (especially in writing and listening)
- Be able to deliver structured content (presentations, reports, transcriptions, meeting notes)
- Be logical and honest in delivering study data
- Be committed to preserving the confidentiality of information
- Be disciplined and responsible when working in teams and individually.
- Be comfortable in using Microsoft office tools, Zoom, and Canva
Preferences (not compulsory):
- Be familiar with qualitative research or measuring & evaluation
- Have been trained in qualitative evaluation methods (Outcome Harvest)
- Be able to create effective and eye-catching designs for reports and presentations using Canva / InDesign / PowerPoint
Compensation
Allowance: 40,000 VND per hour, at least 20 hours per week
