Chúng tôi là ai

ASSET-H&C brings together vocational training centres willing to work hand in hand to better fulfil their common social mission: bringing positive change in the lives of vulnerable youths and adults by teaching them trades that will allow them to successfully integrate into society. Launched in 2016, ASSET-H&C aims at becoming a key regional player in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector as well as in sustainable hospitality & tourism. ASSET-H&C is currently composed of 14 inclusive hospitality training centres: – Cambodia: Bayon Pastry School , Ecole d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule (logo), EGBOK (logo), PSE Institute School of Hospitality & Tourism (logo), Sala Baï (logo) – Laos: Lanith (logo) – Myanmar: IHHVTC (logo), Yangon Bakehouse (logo) – Thailand: HCTC (logo) – Vietnam: An Re Mai Sen (logo), Hoa Sua (logo), KOTO (logo), La Boulangerie Française (logo), Poussières de Vie (logo)

Southeast Asia is expected to experience nearly 3% increase in employment in the travel and tourism sector every year until 2027, when it will support over 42 million jobs. Although the dynamic tourism sector offers great opportunities for economic development in the region, there are still significant social problems, especially amongst youth, women and rural communities, who have limited access to education and decent jobs. In these conditions, the fast-growing tourism sector can become a strong social and economic inclusion lever for these vulnerable populations, as long as they are provided with the necessary productive and transversal skills, and sustainable employment opportunities. In an international context where available public and private funding is scarce, the various training initiatives incorporated under ASSET-H&C help to create these opportunities in a self-sustained way in several countries of Southeast Asia.
